Apologies for the lame attempt at a witty title.....OK, so all of a sudden I realise my horn is not working!
I have tried all the things I can think of.....fuse, steering boss connections.....tried a replacement horn unit....all negative!
Anyone suffered this or any ideas on how to sort it???
-
yeah i had this and i can't remember what fixed it!! ahh actually i do! there are two fuses i kept checking the other one can't think what number they are but there are two so before doing anything else check both..................
-
Thanks Joe! I'll have a look at Haynes and Bentley and see if the second fuse is identified......or does anyone else have any ideas??

Jim or Joe...or anyone.....do you know which is the second fuse relating to the horn? If it's not this I'm stumped!
-
Yea, im having the same problem, and i've an MOT soon. Any one got any ideas on this?
-
sorry, err the fuses are 16 and 18 check them out! liek i say it worked for me!
-
Thanks Joe! Will have a look.....MOT on Wed.....need to get this sorted!!!
-
Right....MOT tomorrow and still can't get the horn working. I've checked all the fuses and they are fine. I have removed the centre from the steering wheel, disconnected and reconnected the horn wires. My only other thought was the relay.....I checked this and it is at position 6 on the board.
The relay itself is marked '21' and has part number 111 953 227A.
I had 2 spare of these (one with the same part number and the other ending ....227D).
Trying either of these made no difference and still not a cheep from the horn!
As I say...the horn itself is working and there is power getting from the wheel.
Any ideas...HELP!

sounds like the power is being lost in the fuse box, it happened on my mates, we had power into the fuse box but none coming back out, we by passed it and now it works, rubjonnys the guy to speak to he managed to get me loads of info

Well looking at a pic of his fusebox, it seems there is what appears to be a rear wiper relay where the horn relay should be
Edit: Yup it was indeed a rear wiper relay, swapped in the fog light one and the horn now works, woohoo :)
