I have seen in various mags that Porsche door handles fit to a mk2? (have porsche engraved on handle). What Porsche are they from, 944? and how easy are they to fit? straight swap?
Also, i had a set of 911 seats retrimmed in leather in my old mini, what do you guys reckon they'd look like in a Mk2? They are narrow at top so may look funny? :undecided:

Got any pics of the seats?
yeah porsche handles fit. Not sure if they are a straight swap though.

I was buzzin when i found a 944 in a scrapyeard, that quickly died off when i sprinted for my life, got covered in mud only to get there and realise the good bits were gone, i may as well of walked, there was nobody else about at the time!

porshe handles dont work i have a 924 aswell as a mk2 and handle on porse broke once and was going to get mk2 handles they look the sam but just dont work

audi door handles work as well, although you need the whole mechanism, so its a case off cut out the audi bit and weld it onto the golf, looks the nuts though
