Wanted 4x15"BBS alloys for mk2 91 golf 16v, any condition with/without tyres, ANY PRICE PAID AS NEEDED. can do deal with wheels already on ring/text for details CRAIG 07900034714 SKEGNESS LINCS

I saw a couple of set on e-bay earlyer today price 100 - 200
just do a search for BBS alloys.

Just bought a Mk2 GTi, as you can see it came with the original BBS, they have been fully restored to new condition and look the bee's knees, IMHO!

 :) That is a top looking car. I have one in the same colour and with standard BBS (paid ?300 to get mine refurbed and look awesome). How much did the car cost?

It's basically in mint condition, as soon as I drove up to see the car I knew within about 10seconds that I was buying it, it was that good! It's only done 66k and needless to say drives impeccably. I paid ?3,000 for it, there was no room to negotiate on price as there were already people wanting to buy the car.
The only thing is I get a bit paranoid about it getting scratched, door dents etc, and was thinking about putting the standard steel wheels back on it to draw less attention.

So what car you got now Richie??

I would try ebay and phone the scrapies for a set, the thing is people are going for original looks these days and so are hanging onto the BBS wheels but i'm sure your find some, may have to make up a set from ones here and there.

got a set for him off ebay a while back, ?225 with brand new goodyear tyres, well chuffed, now got a standard j plate 16v with no shat wheels!, if any 1 knows where i can get some pirreli p wheel center caps from let me know, just got an early 8v mk as a run around no caps!

check out the parts for sale sect. some guy in Scotland rolled his mk2 and has BBS 15" with tyres up for grabs. Don't know how much though.

I've still got my mk2. I am trying to get my girlfriend interested. Well didnt have to try to hard coz she loves my car, so I might buy her one for a surprise. Just got to find a good quality, standard one though. You can't beat the mk2 in standard form.

No it's an 8v, and 3k sounds allot, but have you been looking at the sort of prices low mileage, original ones go for? Mines only had 2 previous owners (a grandfather and his grandson), loads and loads of history, been maintained to a very high standard, BBS RA alloys (fully restored), 66k, Royal blue metalic, PAS, electric windows, unmarked interior (hell it even smells new) it's a mint car.
When it's parked up people constantly walk past and take a second look because of how clean it is.
Plus to find the real nice ones can take loads of time, effort and traveling around.
