Title: ABS light and the little red one in the middle of the dash
Post by: opstech on 10 November 2003, 22:10
???  Just had me discs and pads done on the motor, the thing now is when I turn the ignigtion on the ABS light stays on constanly and then when I release the handbrake thered light on the dash goes out but soon as I start to drive the light comes back on.  Can any one shed any light on this and what needs doing to rectify it?

cheers

Check the brake fluid level, if ok try disconnecting the wiring plug, maybe a faultly cap. As for the ABS , get the rotors and sensors cleaned, as some sh!t might be blocking them when the discs were done.
