Title: Rear Bush
Post by: kace on 10 November 2003, 16:40
Has anyone had a rear bush replaced on their MK3?  If so, how much did it cost.  The rear bush on the left hand side has gone on mine (or is going).

Is it an expensive job?

Cheers

Bushes are cheap, but a pain in the arse to fit. The job involves removing the rear axle, pressing out the old bushes, and pressing in new ones. Will probably cost a bit.

I think its about ?250 at awesome. I had mine done at main dealers so not sure on cost but i would definitely get both sides done at the same time while axel is off.........it absolutely transforms the car feels like brand new after!!!!

I paid ?180 + VAT at the ** Service Garage - although it took them 2 days as they had difficulty fitting it.
