on the 16v there are 3 screw in ones on the right side of the block, defo worth replacing them all as they control various warm up functions :)

Anybody have the real life VW part numbers??
I fitted a GSF one for my dash temp gauge and it reads well high swapped with another of the three sensors and it was sat fine at bang in the middle :grrrrr:!

ETOS lists is as 049 919 501.  But if you take off one of the others give it a clean and the number will be stamped on the side :)

gsf are about £5 each, VW are about £25 each!

Where ever you go make sure you take a multimeter with you and test each one on the omhz setting, they all need to be the same at around 900 omhz iirc
