hello,can anyone please tell me what the best air filter would be to get for my mk3 16v?  ;)

And while they're at it, any chance someone could tell me which 57i Induction Kit to get for my 8v and how much power i can expect to get out of it?

K&N induction kits are good, probably get about 5% extra power, but much better mid-range response.
