this may just be me, but i seriously doubt the performance of that.

Looks wise it looks kinda like mine, completely standard apart from lowered. Best way to be. I would have to go froa  ride if i was to buy it. As the engine just looks like a driver block to me regardless of the claimed work.

That cars not worth it, I bidded on that same car on less than 2yrs ago on ebay went for £750. Car was originally and old blokes car then his son had it. Car came from somerset and lived near TSR. Engine itself is worth no more than £3-400 max. I had same set up in my driver which got wrote of thats why i was after that one. Mine was running it 143bhp on twin choke webber, Nothing special tho.

It's a nice looking Mk2 Driver, but that is definately not a Weber carb cos I had that exact same one on my old 1.8 GL.

Weber carbs look more like this : (http://www.racetep.com/carpics/weber2sm.jpg)

And the engine he's claiming it's got is described on the TSR website as follows:

OULTON 8V 2.0ltr Non-Inj - 135bhp
We don't ignore carburettored engines, they are capable of respectable figures even when running a single carb. A fully balanced short engine fitted with a Pack A gas flowed head using a TSR 102 or 202 cam (depending on the head type) gives a very useful torque increase. We advise having a Weber replacement carb with this conversion (£220.00) to obtain the best results from the increased flow.
Fitted Price £2820 or DIY £2295

So as standard, this engine doesn't have a weber carb and the picture doesn't show one.
That's very pricey for a non-injection engine conversion and even so wouldn't make an H-reg driver worth that much more.

You CAN get twin choke webber carb :smug: There replacement carb for standard single venturi choke carb. Ones you are showing there are twin webber 40/45/48/50 dcoe's not twin choke. Still got bill for my oulton engine £2500.Oulton engine with twin choke webber and tsr 4branch + system 143bhp with 154ibft torque.
