Title: Rallye Questions
Post by: don52b on 29 December 2005, 21:02
Hi chaps, wondering if anyone can help me. What vag springs are the same as a rallye - same ride height and spring rate. Need to know what to get. Also anyone running a BAM engine code or TT lump in there rallye and if so how good would it be as a daily driver - reliability/consuption etc.
Cheers for the help.

the 1.8T gives excellent MPG if you drive it sensibley. If you cane the arse off it it will drink petrol a lot, but what do you expect when you're producing so much BHP.

As for a daily drive I've run a 1.8T in my mk2 for the last 18 months with minor niggle mainly down to the installation of it, but it's never missed a beat reliability wise.

Cheers Dizzie, that makes me feel a bit better about an engine swap. What engine code are you running and management ?

Does anyone know which springs are the same as the rallye ?
