Has anyone tried or seen a mk1 with the door locks removed?can it be done n how much wud it cost?

 do you mean just the lock or the whole handle,
 If its just the locks then fit some rear door handles from a scrappy off a mk1 or early mk2 s. cost about 10 quid. Remote  central locking helps if youve got it if not you will have to sleep in  in yer car so no one can half inch it. if it is the whole handle it requires a bit more work like, welding plates in to fill up the holes painting and fittng a solienoid kit to open the doors via a key fob or tvr style conceled button in the wing mirror. cost depends on how much you can do. if you take it to the body shop probally about 200 quid plus the electrics, (this is only a rough pricing guide).

I think i want the whole handle off like n hav it looking geet flush!I think i'm still abit nervy after it was broken into,plus the door pins just seem to geet stand up loads!(if u know what i mean?)

Completely unrelated but what colour and paint code is that Cab of yours, it looks the same colour as the clipper kit sitting in my garage that I haven't fitted yet.
