Title: what drop springs

I'm looking to lower my 1990 valver, and have seen various sets, some lower the back more than the front.
Is this normal practice?? or should the front and back be lowered the same amount??

if u look in my sigiture pic on the right then thats my valver lowered 55 mm, i had my dirver lowered 80 mm also and it too was lower at the front than the back, dnt know what that is. They were both venommotorsport springs.
