Well done on the sale... can't help but be a tad disappointed I didn't buy it! however, if I had returned with yet another car I would have found myself in BIG trouble...
Remined me of my mystic blue car I had as a company car in 97. Fond memories....
-
Cheers - it went within 24 hours of putting it in the autotrader. Maybe it was a bit cheap but I wanted a quick sale and that's what I got!
£2,200 was the price it went for...
That means I no longer own a dub - damn - I used to spend my much hours surifing this site...
Still got a Seat Leon so maybe that means I can be a honorary member of the Mk4 crew
Pick up the BMW after Xmas - can't wait
-
Better to sell maybe one or two hundred quid below the max than waiting for the phone to ring...
You will love the BM, is it the 150 version? if so, a great engine. I bought my latest mk 4 1.8t Golf to save a bit of dosh, but tempted by something newer now.

Wasn't a P-reg 2.0L GTI 8v was it?
-
No - it was a 98 R reg.
The BMW is the 150bhp version with 6 speed 'box.  Can't wait
Goes like stink with the td engine - I was very surprised by the sheer grunt. Def quicker than the dub (but it was an 8v!)
