Title: Wind noise?
Post by: ducatimad on 07 November 2003, 21:16
Requesting help from all fellow golf gti boffins!

I hear alot of wind noise from either the top corner of the drivers door or a post - and I have checked that my window is firmly closed!

Any ideas or has someone had a similar problem or is this a golf characteristic?

hope you all can help!

Is the door jam adjusted correctly? Maybe the door isn't flush or being pulled in enough.

I had this on my old golf, around the top of the windows. All you can do is replace the seals.

Could be that the window is not fully closing?

The problem i had was the window seals rather than the door seals. Depends how bad it is.

mk2's are renowned for noisy door seals.

replace them
