Right, my Mk4 Anniversary has been really boring/pi55ing me off me lately and I'm considering flogging it.
With the Anniversary prices still holding well I've got about £14.5-15.5k to play with, so I've come up with something a bit canny, not to most peoples tastes, but with my wonderfull lady expecting, I thought it would be usefull, plus the smile on her face when she's pulling 100 plus is sooo funny.

I think they look slightly less MAAAAAD than the 5 and 6, and are a bit more user friendly

Prob a 2.5 with the toys, but I'm still undecided.
I would prefer a German car really, but it needs to be relatively new, not an E30 M3, she'd kill me!!

What about an A3? Or too small for your liking?

evo... running costs... ouch
-
Been down the A3 route, don't really like the new shape, and an S3's boot is too small.
-
E36 M3 Evo, or am I back on servicing costs
-
get and RS4. Few more k but on finance would be a doddle.
-
my mates got one of those 330c's and i loved it. can't fault bmw's other than that 'boy done good' image they have.....
-

Bleedin' students and their finance!
I would looooove an RS4, but I can't stretch, as for the BM being a 330, I would probbably go for the 2.5
-
If you want a sensible family car.. Theres always the new Jetta or Passat. They're both OTR from £14.5k

Ha ha i refuse to touch finance with a barge poll mate, too much risk for me.
Have you looked at the old Audi quattros and the newer diesels??

They're all decent, but I certainly rate the drive of my old E30 highest. Thankfully not "chav" round here, we're still on corsa's and saxos
-
I dont know about them being 'chav' cars.. i mean i grant you, the 80's classic we know and love seem to be getting dragge down into the depths of the evil sea of barry. But i dont think id rate them as chav chariots just yet.
Now the Chavalier.. thats a chav family car!

EVO!!!!!

^2nded
jap cars are more reliable than german cars nowadays
-
plus i just love evo's but for me its the evo 6, theyre the best ones!
-
I'm probably going to go for a 7 as they seem to be more subtle, and have a slightly more aerodynamic look.
-
6's are a bit leary i think!!, which is why i like them!
7's are as u say more subtle and just look a whole lot newer, the isnt much difference between the 7 and the 8, jsut the front end really!
-
my mate as just brought a evo 6 a couple of months ago www.lancermods.co.uk then go to gallery its that exact one the silver one, cost him 12.5k vwith out some of the performance mods, but hes jus had to replace discs and pads, cost him over £600 !!!
-
What about a scooby, there cheap as chips and reliable, bit common i know but stil cheaper than the evo :santa:
