Title: Rusty exhaust heat shield
Post by: Ryan S on 07 November 2003, 12:29
Hello all,
My exhaust heat shield has rusted and is makes an irritating rattle at low revs/idle, so I especially notice it when sitting in traffic.  I would like to know how difficult it is to replace it.
Where is the best place to get one and how much should I pay?
There are a couple of Gtis in the local scrappy, but is it worth getting a new one, and avoiding the hassle of removal?
Oh its for a 1986 8v, so will the later ones still fit it?  I.e. those fitted to digifant as opposed to K-jet?
This site is great I have learned loads of helpful stuff,
Cheers all,
Ryan
