Title: Unsiezing brakes on 1.3

I recently purchased this golf (pic below) for £100 (bargain or what) thing is the front brakes are seized could anyone give me any tips on how to unseize  them.

WD40, Red Diesel, coca cola, wire brush, G-clamp, the list goes on, may be easier to just buy 2 of a scrapper, then bleed brakes after fitting..... :wink:

On a 1.3, producing a wopping 55bhp, easy now.  :laugh:

don't bother trying to de-seize them, they are your main braking calipers stop being a skin flint and buy new calipers, as you will end up killing yourself if they f**k up after you have de-siezed them. a few more quids investment on a car that only cost you a hundred bucks.

You could rebuild the old ones with new seal kits, as the set up is quite simple.
