my speedo packed in tonight on my mk2 :(

is it possible for it to become disconnected from the back of dash or is it more likely bust?

Has your speedo been out before? Mine popped out once.

It shouldn't pop out if its been fitted properly in the first place. The cable has probably worn away and broken.

When i took my dash out for another reason i didnt fit the speedo back properly. It clips back in easy if its come out. Remember to reconnect the vacum aswel.

i think i will get a new cable anyway for what it costs.

just not looking forward to taking that dash out!
