looks more like a passat to me, most disapointing
-
not as good looking as a corrado is it
-
I actually think the wheels look TOO big, or the whole car needs to be lowered somewhat to get it back in proportion.
-
I agree, deffinately needs to be much lower, the arches just dont seem to go high enough on the car. Its close to bein lovely but just not quite.
-
Looks like photoshop again...
-
i think its like a wannabe passat coupe, they need to stop putting the same front end on all there models
-
i like it.... prefer my tweaked version though

looks much better but still needs a face lift lol
-
deffo diffrent wheels. looks smart apart from the wheels
-
i think it looks sweet, i like the lines of the car! looks quite aggresive!
-
Has too much Bentley GT (coupe) in the side profile for me.
-
i think ita more of a new corrado than a scirocco, its not boxy enough to be a scirocco. I am not sure what i think of it really :undecided:
-
but the corrado was the successor to the scirocco and also compare a mk5 to a mk1/2 golf.....................
its just like vw calling the jetta a vento/bora etc when in the states its always been called a jetta.....
-
yea good point, but it just doesnt have any of the same lines as a scirocco and if they do decide to bring it out, it should really be called a corrado
-
I think the name Scirocco means more to VW and regardless of the look, it should be Scirocco, altho Karmann Ghia would be even better
-
I quite like it, gotta agree with the name tho, shouldnt be Corrado....there is only 1 Corrado......

After all the Corrado was that good, they only did it for a few years!!
I think it looks pimp, and I would have one, especially de-chromed, dumped and running some 19" splits. I would photoshop it, but I ain't got a feckin' clue how to do it!!

88 - 95...thats 7, which is by no means only a few...and anyone who doesnt think the Corrado is good needs their head seeing too lol

Hang on, I've never seen an E plate Corrado, as the Scirroco was still in production in 88, I wouldn't have thought VW would be running the two cars simultaneously. And I had my head read.....thats why I got a mk2!!!   :nerd:
PS, VW did the Corrado (in the UK) from 89-96 :nerd: :nerd: Still 7 years, but we all have our mishaps
-
They are going back because as well as this Scirocco they are bringing out a Jetta!
Personally I think it looks too much like a Focus!
But not bad.

Now that's more like it..
-
If they made the corrado in 89, then the must of made them both at the same time as my rocco is 1990!

Cut and shut!!
Didn't know that they made the cars at the same time, seems a bit daft if one was to replace the other?
-
it is a bit daft like!
were corrado's made in wolfsburg?
-
they were made at karmann i believe....
-
i thought so, i was going to say that perhaps if one was at wolfsburg and one was built at karmann then they might of had orders to meet so carried on making the scirocco at karmann and had corrado at wolfsburg. Then that would explain why they were shortly made at the same time but seeing as tho they were made in the same place its quite odd!

sorry yes, i wasnt too specific there, the corrado was in production 88-95, and was indeed sold in the UK 89-96. The Corrado was indeed producedand sold along side the Scirocco as its "upmarket" brother. It was sold as a "Luxury Sports Coupe" i believe the official title was....
Oh and i wasnt implying that u needed your head read, I am personally a lover of all VW's, I mearly stated that anyone who didnt think the Corrado was any good has obviously never been in one, or read anyones reviews ever. And all Corrados were made at Karmann, hence the Karmann logos in the cars.ÂÂÂ
:santa:
-
I have never been in one, but i still want one! of the VR6 variety!!
