Title: standard mk2 16v's hard to find!!!

i'm after a golf gti 16v 3dr mk2, but can i find a standard example no chance! even thought about a 20v turbo converted one but still no joy, okay i'll admit that when your self imposed choice of black or oakgreen you are gonna have hard search!
then even more constraints of low miles for year! i owned 5 to 6 of these models in the past 90's to 2003, from oakgreen to black my favourite colours, last one a black 1990 16v sold in 2003! specialists with links to dealers get the best choice!
 i used to source these cars through locall press and trade/ auctions and sell them to a company called volkscars run by
peter carrick and jon woods good old days!! if some ones got one let me know 07831526309!

i just recently acquired a totally mint one...
a 1990 H, mk2 16v in atlas grey, 88k, fsh
its been in my family for over12 years now
im under strict orders to keep it standard, my brother has a soft spot for it!
however im not so soft, any offers welcomed!!!  :wink:

Seriously, if it is mint and completely standard and being such a low miler, i recon you could get £2000+ for it!

If i was looking for one, i'd snap your arm off for it :)

the car is immaculate, and totally standard,
with the exception of the head unit, tomtom satnav and bluetooth carkit, all reversable.
my only modification has been to remove the heater bypass valve (necessary) but ive saved the valve for resale if its to a die hard purist!
anyhow, its not for sale to idots or rude chavs...
