Title: temp problem

driving towards motorway the other day in my cab blowers just warming up great  :grin: temp moving up  :grin:
got on the motorway put my foot  the temp gauge went down the blowers stopped blowing out hot but a bit warm bummer  :lipsrsealed:
not sure ifthis is because i had the revs turned down as it was reving to much any ideas anyone why this happen :undecided:
as soon as a got into london ie slowing down went bact to normal  :smug:

sounds like thermostats opening at to low temperature, try a new un', only a couple of quid.  car aint import or nowt is it mate? dont forget its bloody nippy n all, but shouldnt be that cold on motorway

Do the mk1's have the bypass valves fitted in the matrix pipes like mk2's do? If so i would say they are the problem because he lost his heaters when he gave it more revs = more pressure. Just a guess.
