looks realy tidy that mate, like the black wheels on a black car look btw!
-
Thats the first time ive posted pictures! Im a novice when it comes to computers so im chuffed it worked!
The car doesnt look that low cause its on a slope but it sits a lot lower than that last pic!
-
looks good mate
looks loads better than my poor Driver
-
Cheers guys!
Still unsure about the Jetta front end tho? :undecided:
-
when i had my driver i was toying with the idea of a jetta front end, but that red out line sets it off, looks good.
-
Think it would look better with crystal lights, or at least cleaner ones, thouse look a little foggy! ;)
-
What, the fronts or rears?
The front headlights are sh*te, have gone all cloudy but sealed units so cant clean inside of glass.
-
Fronts!
16v tints are imo the best rear lights for the MK2 Golf :)
Take the lights off and pour in some water & washing up liquid then swish it round a bit then rinse. Then leave em on a radiator overnight to dry, worked on my spotlights:

OooH! will try that. Cheers chap.
I tinted the rears myself using that Black tint spray, doesnt look too bad tho!
-
Can't beat a good mk2!!
Just bought a wee 1.6 Driver myself in 3 door, but kinda wish it was a 5 door now looking at those pictures!
-
Looking good Si, you got it on the road now then?
-
Yeah its been on road for a while now. Doesnt take long to fix!
-
i was thinking abotu a jetta front end but theres a guy who drives around in a very similar golf to mine and he has one so i dont wanna look like im copyiing, its nice tho, loads lower than mine and all windows blacked out, and the wheels..... he obviously earns more money than me
-
I want to put single lamp grills on mine again. Getting bored of Jetta ones!
I only put that red pin-stripe on the grill to see what it looked like and look different from other Jetta fronts!
-
if you do change it can i buy your jetta end of you? i plan to buy a black gti when i can find one and a want a jetta front for it
-
I suppose?!
They are well easy to come by anyway if you want one sooner?
I bought a whole Jetta TX 1.6 complete for £20!
-
Another Tidy 5 door !

cheers, i have big plans
-
That sounds promising?!?!
What you got planned?
-
looks smart. Like the grill
-
blimey si, if that grass was any longer you wouldnt see the car or be able to see over speedbumps...thats one low golf
i do like the jetta grill but kinda prefered it black on black on black on black!
by the way that impressive fireworks display from my valver on saturday finally killed my starter motor...
funnily enough the replacement one works much better with an earth lead
-
drivers with 6 letter plates r cool!
-
Joe, i cant believe that your cars been arking all that time with no damage!!?! How didnt it catch fire?
Lucky you found it when you did! Glad its sorted!
Yeah my car is pretty low, photos dont do it justise, looks lower in the metal!
-
i took the old starter motor out on friday night after work as it wouldnt start and its a right old mare as the starter motor bolts also hold the front engine mount on and you need a jack under the engine before you can do 'owt. not an ideal task in the dark and obviously i forgot to reconnect the earth lead! i guess in the morning as i bounced down my sh!tty lane to come and meet you guys it must have started arcing..
i am rather surprised it didnt fry the coil, ecu or blow up too
