I've always found chrome parts go rusty easily. might be down to cheap parts. :(

maybe but i must say i have experienced that two with a mini my m8 had we spent a whole week of endless evening cleaning all the rust off the chrome and the fu@ker went and rote it off about a week later. by the way dizzie your car is the dogs. was gonna get a conversion done by dd now having second thoughts might just make sure that everything is done in writing so i have a good come back coz there so close to home and other conversions i have seen done by them seem good.

chrome looks amazing, but will cost you an arm and a leg, maybe the odd toe. most people either polish them or get them diamond cut and laquered.

cheers man, polishing is just that, polishing! diamond cut is where they stick the wheel on a lathe and slowly cut across the face to give a nice flat uniform finish. it can sometimes leave a little groove running across the face and isn't as full on bling as polished but alot easier and cheaper to have done. most decent wheel places will have a template for the design 90's.
