please help!!!
just picked up a set of audi tt alloys five spoke (215/55/r16) these have an offset of 31. theyll look sweet on my 1997 golf gti16v. how do i get these to fit, although i havnt actually tried them. tyres look to big, and isn`t the offset wrong??????? any ideas boys???? ???

Tyres will definitely need to be changed.
I'm pretty certain that 205/45 R16s are the right size tyres for 16" wheels on a Golf mkIII, but check with an aftermarket wheel shop to find out for sure.

yeah mate the offset should be fine ,i ve just bought the 17inch tt wheels off here and they look mint on my car!!, 1996 gti ...... the tyres on mine are 205/40/17..
they are just a little wider i think 7.5 inch instead of 7 inch but thats no problem, go for it>>>>> :o
