Title: noise from front wheel area...
Post by: Blue MK2 on 05 November 2003, 20:32
When i turn i get a noise that goes like this...''tik', 'tik', 'tik' and increases depending on the speed im doing. This happens more on the left hand side but i dont even put it on full lock.

It doesnt rub on the inside by the wheels and im running on 15"s with 195.45/15 tires.

any clues mates as this only happens when im doing a tight turn but not on full lock?

Sounds like the outer cv joint, does it get worst on full lock?

Cut the clip on the boot, pull it back and make sure there is plenty of cv grease in there (or moly grease).
