Title: wheel ET
Post by: jax on 09 June 2003, 20:30
im (hopefully) buying some brock b1s in a 7.5 x 16 size and was wondering what difference the ET would make and what ET i should go for on a mk2 driver lowered 40mm: 25 or 35?

hi there
i used to have a mk2 16valve i discovered that by putting on an ET45, which is actually a vauxhall offset,i was able to drop the car right down with out  any major problems.i was running on 17 / 7.5 wide stil auto,s. a lot of  vw drivers always wondered how i got my  car so low without scobing.by using the ET45 offset there is virtually no clearance on the inside of the tyre and the rear subframe, but u can get away with it.However u need to be sure that the 16valve doesn,t use wider or different  size hubs than a driver.let me know how u get on m8
