Call me a traditionalist but I'd say big bumper if its a big bumper car and small if its a small bumper car. In other words don't go arsing around with what was intended.

On to the question......After years of preferring big bumpers I find that in recent times I'm beginning to like the look of small bumpers , that's as long as the front valance is in good nick and it's fitted with the 16v spoiler (with the brake cooling ducts) :cool:

Its totaly up to your own taste mate. If you like big then go big and vice versa. Its a matter of opinion at the end of the day and you will never please everyone. Especially all the big girls on this forum that wear make up.  :grin:

I like both, but small bumpers look better on a dark coloured car imo.

Basically the way I see it, leave it with whatever bumpers it left the factory with :)

personally i like them small, but if i was to buy a golf with big bumpers then i couldnt see myself changing them, if the question is which is actually  "better" then ide say the big bumpers are probably better bumpers as theyre.... bigger....:laugh: :undecided:

i really dont like the big bumpers without the rest of the 90 spec kit to go with it,

my valver was one of the last to leave wolfsburg with the small bumpers and when i got her i was a bit jealous of the big bumpers.  i wouldn't contemplate giving her bumper implants now, helious blue, small bumper, 16v splitter =minimalist =  :cool:
