Title: Good day all (pic added)
Post by: gc350 on 05 December 2005, 14:11
Hi all,

Just found the site, quite handy really cos i've just got myself a C-reg Mk2 Golf GTi 8V.  The good thing about cars is the fact that i know very little about them.  I'm a bit of a bike fiend really.

The car is great nick, and a real nice drive. Its grey 2 (elderly) owners 67,000 and fsh.  Its had the odd knock on a few panels, but the paintwork is undamaged and there is NO rust.

It has a few things that need sorting, like the heater matix (its been bypassed) the very back part of the roof lining has sagged a bit, and the rear wiper motor does'nt work.

It beats driving around in my renault 11.

More about me, i'm 28, been driving for nearly 6 years, but till now my real pasion has been for motor bikes, which have been my hobby for about 11 years.

Well thats me

And this is my car

Just out of interest, i paid £600 for this, (Tax'd till July, Tested till August).  The second hand market over here (isle of wight) is always a little high, but does that sound like a fair'ish price?
