GOT a f*****g speeding ticket ,got by the police them self(lazy sods)
anyone no how much the insurance go up.
-
a friend of mine didn't tell their insurers
and it didn't affect his premium one bit
even up to 11 points the premium isn't affected!!!!
:P
-
it does affect your premium if you dont tell them.
it invalidates it.
my roommate here at work said his insurance wasnt affected... but it could depend on the insurer.
-
I got 6 points for speeding earlier in the year, and my insurance went down when it came time for renewal ( I am 30) so I reckon it doesn't have too much effect
-
Depends what the points are for, sp30 doesn't put too much on insurance.
-
true enough - thats what mine was (SP30)
-
If it's a fixed penalty (?60 + 3pts) and it's the only offence on your licence, it shouldn't affect your premium at all. If it does, move to another insurer.
You must tell your insurance company about it though. If you claim (even for theft or fire) they ask to see your driving licence and will refuse to pay out if their records don't tally.

When u receive the ticket and sign it and take it back (this is already recorded that u have a ticket so u need to take it back) the cops fone ya insurance usually. (they do up here)
My friend (a girl) got caught my a mobile police camera unit at Scotch Corner (Cumbria) and says shes not telling her insurance, shes crashed 4 times since shes been driving (5month) and says she'll be fine... so shes driving with "no licence" and chances are her insurance knows but cos she didnt tell em
1: they'll invalidate her licence and act like they never knew
2: when she renews it they'll put her insurance up and say they knew from the cops
3: she'll be fined for no licence if she crashes
all I can say (cos ive warned her) is ... HAHAHAHAHAHAH hope u crash u fiesta 1.3 Encore driving cow!
MWHAHAHAHA
*evil grin*
