hi, has anyone ever put a 5 speed polo gt gearbox into a 1.3 golf? if so could u tell me what box bracket u used. and where i would find one?

I think a normal 1.6 golf gear box should fit from a mark 2, they are usualy plenty of them in breakers yards, i think an 8v gti bxo would fit aslo.

To be honest i would keep the 4 speed, shorter ratio's - quick off the mark!  :cool:
