real shame mate looks really tidy on there
-
How nice and tidy does that look.
I really hope you can get it back in reasonable condition but it's going to be broken up and sold in bits, no question about it. Keep an eye on e-bay and the VW forums for new users selling mk1 bits.

now u are sure you havnt parked it somewhere else have you
a guy from work has a bmw 316 and he drive it to the pub with the idea that he would leave it there and walk home but instead he decidd to drive home, and he parked it a bit further down the road than normal. He had no recolection of this and went to the pub the next day to go and get his car and becasue it wasnt there reported it stolen, 4 days later he found it and then realsied what he had done! it could happen to us all!

Ive posted on every forum i can think of, even clubbing ones. Just praying its been parked up somewhere legal and just hasnt been found yet. If someones taken it to break then theyre just sick.
Got shed loads of work to do but can't concentrate.

nothing will stop someone with a trailer..
the fastest way i've heard to steal a car is..
1... have someone pop the bonnet put expanding foam in alarm siren.. cars without bonnet sensors might not even go off at this point.. and if they do you're hopefully en-route
2.. have a lorry, trailer, van big enough to lift at least the front end of car (to beat steering lock..) for towing.. and you're off to a quiet place for removing troublsome locky type items.. stripping or whatever its being nicked for..
also any well tooled thief will have a set of motortrade grade keys.. my dads mates in the trade and its scary how fast he can get in a car.. there is also a "cracking kit" for locking wheel nuts..

hehe.. man my alarm goes off and it aint even heard..
even worse.. the woman with a vr6 rado over the road has the exact same alarm..
so always thinkin its hers as it goes off often..
-
my alarm is only loud inside the car so u cant hear it unless u are actualy stood next to it!

Did you make a note of your chassis number?
Cos if they swap number plates, that'll be all you have to identify it formally.
A friend of mine had her number plates stolen by someone to put onto a stolen car and the police said it was likely to be have been stolen to go on a car that matched hers.
