Title: Original GTI black trim

Does any body know if the original black trim for a mk3 golf gti 3 goor can still be bought. Just bought the car the trim is damaged abit want to replace it all, in keeping withthe original looks. If you cant get the trim any more any body got a suggestions on what i could do. Thanks

Tried VW? or eurocarparts, or gpc?

By trim I assume you are talking about the strips down the side....?  If so they are apparently no longer available, although there is a guy on fleabay who does a 3-piece set for the trim around the back window.  He may be able to source something, but according to my local VAG place they don't do it.

Most people seem to have stripped it off now.  Still have mine, but days are numbered owing to over-enthusiastic use of the jet wash by previous owner...... :sad:
