Hi i want to fit the rear wiper from a polo coupe to my gti mk2 so it sits flater can any one tell me which year polo i would need to get one off cheers
-
i believe any of them will work but the later shape with the squarer headlamps (same shape as a g40) are normally used.
-
the standard wiper will sit perfectly flat. a la....

Though the MK3 Polo (90-94) has a washer jet built in so would make it slightly neater if you flushed off the std washer jet, plus the std one is pretty rubbish especially when you lay the wiper flat!

You want to do the rear washer mod, sa its cheaper then getting a new wiper arm!! (Pocket at scrapyard ;))

Doesnt hit the wiper arm then... and better spray direction too ;)

what did that washer jet come off?
-
My bonnet :D

Is the washer just a direct swap or do you have to mod it a bit ?
-
Its very simple to do, but does require a little bit of modding... Take the old one off the back, you'll see its a cross hole, raather than a rectangle. You just need to file the hole out a bit, then trim the clip off the new jet, and stick it in place.
Easy as pie ;)
Hardest part is adjusting them  Thugh not as hard as my front ones... ;)
