Title: washer jets

does anyone know why there is two leads going to the washer jets ??? one brown and one blue ?? they are standard washer jets any ideas ????

They are heated washer jets, one live one neutral. Came as a option on all the golfs. Mine has them.

how do i turn them on or do there come on when i start the engine ???

they provide a low current to them once the engine is on.
