Good idea? althou i think i have uprated shocks anyway and am not sure, what do you guys think?
-
more than likely going to get shock absorber leaking if you use the standard ones, gt some boge gas shocks, only £40 each.
-
can you do it on gti shocks? cause i fancy a bigger drop too, i knew 40 wouldnt be enuf
-
The more the drop, the greater the chance of bottoming the shock out. Also the shock is more likely to wear out more quickly, since the standard ones are not uprated like the new springs would be. Fit new bump stops too!

Mine seems fine on standard shocks. (Lowered 85mm) with 15's.
I would recommend replacing to uprated shocks tho! Mine didnt like it much when i had 17's on there!
