hows the ride comfort and handling?
-
Well blue, you know my car better than most as you did some work on it. Theres little comfortable about it anyway :P
But yeah, its not too bad acctually, a little hard on the rear but the handling is excilent, Not had a chance to properly test it yet as i want to get the tracking done and two fresh front tires before i really put it through its paces :)

Looking good mate, get some pics of the whole car up now its sat on its @rse

Hold the press folks, We have been scratching our heads here at Castle fielder and decided its not low enaugh, So this saturday we are gonna roll the arches and see if we can get it even lower :D
-
lol, looking good man.
One thing I'm going to do when I get my 17"'s is put new suspension on them as I dont think my 40mm drop will be enough so looking for 60mm all round.
Whatcha think guys?

I hope ur prepared to keep buying new front splitters, i went 80mm on my driver and used to always rip my splitter off! and that was just the standard gti big bumper splitter
-
good work, can never be to low. you might want to trim the bottom of your arches aswell to try and stop them getting ripped off on stuff. then get caught on stuff and snap at the mount.
-
my splitters a little bit smaller than the GTI ones but i have been taking speed bumps VERY slowly
Hopfully getting the plastic inner arch removed and the arches rolled (or cut in the case of the plastic over arches) so it doesnt rub as much. Sadly after the photos on tuesday im going to be raising the rear a little bit, i think the way the wheels sit right up in the arches make it look a little bit chav-tastic :undecided:

hows the ride comfort and handling?
- I found my FK's to offer a suprisingly good level of ride quality bearing in mind the drop I had...

The picture above is of the car not at the lowest it was run, but it is on 16's which sat it up a ittle from the 15's it used to run on most often!
