Im gonna have to recheck my code ,it could possibly be the classic green?
the paint code is on the vw label in the back i was told that the car is a ltd edition for a tuning company in holland but i havent got proof of this yet ,(im gonna have to do some homework!)
-
I would say wait til monday and ring your local stealership and ask

Cassic green is the corrado storm colour has anyone ever heard of that colour being used on mk2 golfs?
the code is similar enough that i could have read it wrong as it wasnt very clear!

will have a look on the paint system at work tomorrow.
-
theres one on dinxs link thats called greenpearl LC6V could be mistaken for LL6V ??
A mate has had a look at the car and he also thinks its not oak green,
-
what about nile green !!, i found a pic on google of a g60 in what he called nile green but cant find any other mention of it ?
his car was sold by oettinger on a special order! and the guy who sold me mine said that there was something about a tuning company that ordered it!!,
so im gonna have to check now and find out if its an oettinger , (its bloody fast if thats anything to go by !)
-
Mine cabby is Pearl green metallic, I think it's LC6V but I'd have to check to be 100% sure. Look at the photos in my gallery as the one in my sig actually looks duller than it is.

I have been surfing t"net and there is a code called ll6y but i can only find it in germany and its called something like tuerkis/turkis ,
from what i can gather this colour wasnt an option on g60s so it looks like i may have got a rare one
-
i know mine.. LA7U - but mines met grey LOL

nile green is a porsche colour, used on a few of the oettinger G60's. only one i've ever seen is matt's from dubforce
(http://www.dubforce.net/forums/uploads/post-2-1067461825.jpg)
although it doesnt look like that now.
-
I reckon its the same as that one ,
nice colour isnt it
and gibby you want to swap that camper for a nice green g60?
-
right paintcodes from the system =
LL6 = Nocturne Aubergine
LL6V = Green Metallic.
-
I think we have cracked it
now i just have to find out if its an oettinger edition and i may be close to finding out what it is and where it came from!,
cheers for your help so far peeps,
-

Hmmmm, after the RR day on Saturday I might be tempted. I reckon you'd have to find some cash to give me though !
-
gibby i will just have a look down the back of me sofa
it looks like its definitely porsche nile green from the factory  (still unsure if its an oettinger )
and yes it does look better than oak green (common as muck )

Aye wag, those fifties (notes not coins by the way  ) dont make much noise when they fall out of your pocket so if you can find a fair few down there we'll have a chat.
-
gibby wants a rallye, i however would probably sell my mk4 to fund an oettinger g60, if thats what it turns out to be  i'll see if i can find out how to tell if it is a genuine one for you mate, price-wise they go for about the same as edition 1's + a little bit, all depending on condition ofcourse.
