Title: mk2 GTI Wiring Help
Post by: steviem on 25 November 2005, 19:53
Someone decided to cut off any head unit (ISO) connectors in the GTI that I bought, and I need to know what the wires are.
I also need to know the best (easiest) route through the firewall to connect a permanent power feed to my headunit, its an Alpine, and another power feed for an amp..

should be a hole up and behind the passenger dash tray.

better to rip out the old wires and fix in a new iso block thing. Thats what i did anyway.

Sorry i have no idea what coulours each wire is but your best bet is to just get a test lamp on them all and find out for yourself.
