Title: 15" for 280 brakes question
Post by: GTI EDITION (aka LTD) on 25 November 2005, 10:44
Can anyone tell me wether 15" BBS RA's will fit over 280 (G60) brakes , if not what other VW 15"x 6 or 6 1/2 wheels would, as I'm looking to get some winter tyres but need thinner rims.   :undecided:
( I have 7x15s but they're a bit too wide for the tyres I'm thinking of getting)

i think you need a spacer/longer bolts as the inside face of the wheel fouls the caliper.

you should be able to pick up some sebrings (standard rallye) off ebay fairly cheap ? they're 15x6.5 iirc.

Thanks Topher   I have seen some RAs on Eb@y but had a feeling that there maybe  clearance issues with them.  :undecided:
