Afternoon all!
My gearknob was starting to twist around about a bit so I pulled it off and am now wondering whether it's ok to glue back on or not?
It should look like;

With it pulled off it's more like;

I am guessing if I buy a replacement then I'd get the white plastic bit and the leather skirt so if I glue the top back on I am not sabotaging any future gear knob replacements. Can someone who's done this confirm or deny this please.
Cheers, Rich.

I don't remember any white plastic when i removed mine. So i'm guessing its part of your existing know.
If you do end up replacing it wny not go for a new looking R-line one?
