Title: Where is my fuse box

I've just bought a mark 4 Golf GTI and i can't find the fuse box!! Pathetic I know. Can anybody help?

The reason I want to take a look at the fuses is because I went to open the car yesterday on the key fob and it didn't work and the alarm went off. When i got in the car the electric windows and interior lights didn't work. Fuse problem maybe?? What do you reckon?? ???

in every vw i've ever owned its been in the drivers footwell behind a panel

open ur drivers door and look at the side of the steeringwheel little flap round the side
