Title: Upgrade to 312mm brakes
Post by: ramjet on 21 November 2005, 12:39
Hi Guys,

Any one tried upgrading to 312mm brakes and if so whats needed and if the standard 16 in rims fit with it.

Also where to source the new bigger diameter rear discs and holders etc?

Regards

Hi

All that is needed to upgrade to 312mm is the carriers and the disc's as for fitting behind the standard rims i cant see that being a problem, As for the rear try finding some leon cupra r or golf v5 calipers and disc's both are direct replacements for the 1.8t.

Hope this helps

Phil
