like really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really....etc

but have £1k plus whatever finance i can get to get one, plus I'm 18 so insurance is the issue....what do i do!?

could buy a cheap mk2 gti and blow the rest on insurance i spose!!

shop around chris...im sure you'd find a cheap driver or wot 16valve said...just dont get a mk3 :wink: :laugh:

you can get an 8 valve for that! get a gti! u'll only want to change it in a bout 6 months time if u dnt!

have you stolen my bonnet? mines got almost exactly the same dents! Didnt think it'd catch on tbh.

by the way, I know there was a 1.8 mk2 driver in the garage in stalham by the high school the other week coz my dad was tellin me anout it. think its up for a grand but its good apparantly, only 80k on the clock! might be worth a look mate.

what u and dani doin for new year this year btw? and happy bday for when it was, gutted i missed it mate.

keep watching ebay i found a mint looking rat mk1 tbh it wasnt even rat look it was kust finished in matt black.

I got a pretty good MKII GTI for £800. e/w, c/l, fsh and tons of recipts for the cars life 3 owners (Previous having it 8 years) 118k :D

think thats the best advice really mate, just dont rush into anything. I take it you still have your ibiza to be gettin on with.

So u gone off the idea of financing a bora then? In all honnesty i think your better off just gettin the best golf u can afford and payin monthly for your insurance.

Hi Chris, where abouts are you, i'm inPortsmouth, my next door neighbour has a very tidy MKII Driver in gunmetal grey for sale, think he wants about £300-350.

CHR15 lives in east norfolk so Portsmouth is probably a little too far to travel id have thought.

Keep those eyes peeled tho mate, something will crop up, it always does!
