Just bought a Mk2 Gti 8 valve, will be searching the forum for info and after some bits too.

Will be using it to tow my kit car (honest!) so will be more a daily hack rather than show or go.

anyway, if i can arsed to go threw the search menu thing then i will, and then after reading what i want will still post stupid questions anyway!

its a VERY rare kit car, 1 of only 11. Mid engined and fun. ALOT faster than the Golf and handles soooooo much better, just not that practical.

But the Golf is better than the Fiesta Si i blew up on the motorway (something about havin no oil in it) and that didnt handle that good either.

But with the Golf its just basic knowledge etc that i am looking for and see how it goes. You never know, i might grow to like it  :smiley:
