Looks good, But why are you moving the plate back? your gonna need your Bumper replaced too or can they mold in a plastic plate and smooth it over?
-
ha ha read it fool!! i said the bumper is going on at the weekend. got another one done.
gone back to having the plate up there just because i'm bored of the flushed one. plus the smoothed one is mnore subtle, i'm fed up of some chav sitting up my ass the minute i go out in it!!

You gonna be e-baying the old tail gate? If so let me know and i might put in a bid or two.

Looking Good!! Was the tailgate Brand new??
Want to get mine looking similiar but was think of leaving a plinth just a small one, did you know the sprayer or just write down all the instructions/ drawings as I worry they'll just say "err of course we can do it  " (any sprayers reading please dont take it personally, i'm just paranoid)

the tailgate was second hand but was in very good condition, mint! there is a plinth left there but its hard to get a decent photo. the guy who did it had never done one before so like you, i was a bit worried, but it turned outgood. i just said to weld a strip over where the old platsic plinth was.
got the bumper on now and it looks brilliant. i'm a happy chappy!!
mix, get your ass to a show and you might see it!! :P
-
well...............
-
just when you thought it couldnt get any better......
-
Silly question here - will it not fail an MOT like that though ?
I thought the rear number plate had to be lit ... :undecided:
-
^^ it is!! the lights are still there but instead of being hidden by a lump of plastic they're hidden by a lump of metal!
got the bumper on, on saturday too so its all looking sweet! :P got a call yesterday to to say the front is done and will be dropped off tonight or tomorrow so should be looking ok for the r/r day. :)
-
sneaky, very sneaky
-
ha ha! actually the original lights wouldn't fit so i got some waterproof LED blocks which have 6 white LED's sealed in which i used instead, realy nice white light and work better than i thought they would. reeeeeeeeeeesult!
