Hi folks
This one is as the title says really. can you get 16" steelies with 4 x 100 pcd? I would like to put steelies on my motor for winter but i have a big brake conversion kit on and cant be arsed to change the callipers and discs over. specialy as i think i have binned me old discs.
It dont matter what make of steelie just as long as it will fit. I used to run 15" bmw steelies in the winter but that wont fit over me calliper.
has anybody any ideas?

didn't they do G60 steels in 16"?? If so i think you can still get them from the stealership.

just seen a gritter on the road

good thinking batman i like the sound of that  will try them out. would still like to know of any more though. i know some renualt and bmw fit but i dont know what sizes they use.

cheers blue
if we keep it quiet about winter having bad weather it might just go away
-
probably just as easy to fit a crap set of 16" alloys
-
hmmmm, g60 steelies in 16 inch, now theres a thought. photoshop time!
-
What brakes do you have. My 15" G60 steelies fit over my G60 brakes. Funny that.
-
i have the brembo 4 pot conversion from badger bill
i wanted steelies cos if i slide and hit a kerb steelies dont snap like me mates alloys did last year. also with 16's i could have a larger side wall on me tyre and this would help with kerb collision and hopfully put a bit more softness back in the ride so i dont have to tip toe on the ice as the konis are pretty hard even on the lowest setting.

what about some new mini wheels  they might have 16" steels
-
Do you often hit curbs or something. I try to avoid them.
-
I find it useful to avoid them wherever possible! bloody things tho hey! must have been designed by someone who really didnt care about his wheels! and who really cares about pedestrians!?! if they just bought a car we wouldnt need cerbs then we couldnt damage our nice shiny wheels!
*looks at mix
-
new mini wheels thats a good idea i shall find out
I dont go out looking to hit kerbs and waste £100's of pounds worth of alloys but as we all know sh!t happens and i find it easier to drive home on a bent steelie than a snapped alloy. this was proved in a cavalier one winter............. (sorry i once owned a cavalier :undecided:.......... hangs head in shame)
