Title: igntion swtich or Barrell ?

I need to push my key hard into the barrell & then turn the key to start the car, if i dont push it just turns over and wont fire, is the switch or the barrell thats gone?

its probably the bit on the end of the barrel that turns the switch. I had that problem when i put a gsf barrel on mine and it rounded off in a matter of weeks :angry: its probably worn away a bit

can i get a barrel to match the key i already have or will i be that guy that walks about with a key for each lock on the car :grin:

Try the ignition switch first :)

you can take the barrel apart and use the new end with the key on it that fits into the ignition switch and screw that onto your old barrel :smiley:

Intersting, cheers for that bit of info, i'll see how much a barrel is from local ECP.
