on my 1997 8v its on the big coolent pipe on the front of the head(just off to the right sticking out of the top of the pipe) my mk 2 had 2 sensors and so do some of the early mk 3's my 1997 only has 1,is your car having problems starting in the cold cos it sorted mine out when i changed it.hope this helps.

Is this the sensor that has summit to do wiv being linked to the throttle control valve and ecu,having probs wiv it cutting it out n been told this cud fix it  :undecided:

 :undecided: can i run car wiv this sensor unplugged and does it have anything to do wiv the throttle control valve???
