Title: Scutttle panel replacements - Whats yours got?
Post by: 16valve on 12 November 2005, 10:29
The scuttle panel on mine has broken and cracked so will be replacing with either a Vag hard plastic one or does anyone know if there's an alternative ie carbon ?

all smiles do a carbon one but to be honest they are sh!t. just a piece of carbon fibre shhet cut to shape and poorly fitting. i'd stick to the hard VAG one

Just go for a nice clean VW one from down the scrappy
I picked one up last weekend, a bit tatty but nothing that some scrubbing and kiwi boot polish won't solve

Just replaced my old thin cack one today with the later hard plastic one. Been getting water ingress probs through the heater blower so thought it about time!! done the kettle full of water test, works a treat!
