Title: Golf gti mk2 classic insurance

Does anyone know where i can get classic insurance/limited mileage for my 91 8v gti. I have had insurance through AON but they only do mk1 now.

i can do you  a quote on ltd mileage if you like but can only do mk2s on classic if they are pre 1990 (hopefully will change to 91 in new year). If your intersted give HIC/Golf+ insurance a ring on 08451 266366 and ask for martin or pm me your number and i will call you back. Remember to say you got the number from golfgti.co.uk cos it gets you a discount so hopefully i might be able to help you out if i can!

^^ when i had to renew my insurance i tried to get hold of you but they wouldn't let me speak to you as it was a re-newal! :( was gonna try to blag a bit more off!!!

doh! yeh i only really do new sales but would have been happy to have a look and see if i could have got it any cheaper!! best bet is send me a pm and as soon as i get it i will ring you (or just ring through again as a new customer) :smiley:

Hi you might think that Swinton would be expensive but there not and they would insure my 8v gti H reg on a classic policy with limited milage if i had wanted it........ :smiley:

Try HIC insurance, i am with them and they are fantastic,
never had a problem and good customer service!! :wink:

Out of interest (and the fact I am looking for a Mk2 as a second low mileage car) what sort of quotes are you getting on a classic policy?
