Hey
Ive decided i want to lower my 1.3 but im undecided after seeing some really nice mk2's with different ride hights!
Im now not sure what set up i shpoud go for and was looking for peeps opinians! Bearing that inmind I am
running 16's with avon 205/45/16's on!
40mm shocks and springs??
or
60mm shocks and springs??
This is what my mk2 looks like at the moment! ( its on a slope!)

40's.
60's will give you bit of a rubbing issue, and will also mean that there will be some arch work needed. Plus you have to account for creep after a few years.

well i wasnt sure if there would be rubbing or not but i dont think il take the chance!

Yeah, a drop to 40 should be ok, 60 I reckon you would be pushing it, unless u switched to 15"s with an ET35-38.

Swwet looking car mate, i voted 60mm drop. Get the arches sorted to avoid scrubbing but 60mm will look awesome! Im biased cause i got a fettish with dogs licking in between my toes and low suspension....
Ok forget the dog thing! :embarassed:
